1) Most of the states of Mexico, has observed daylight saving time, except Sonora UTC -7, and Quintana Roo UTC -5, which have used the same time zone throughout the year.
Note: Ciudad Acuña and Ciudad Juárez, turned the clock back 1 hour on October 30, 2022 instead of November 6, at the same time that all of Chihuahua (including Ciudad Juárez and Ojinaga) switched time zones from the Mountain Time Zone to the Central Time Zone UTC -6h, so the clock time was not changed. Last time zone note: On 11/30/2022 Ciudad Juárez, return to Mountain Time Zone UTC -7h. (MST) in Mountain Standard Time.

Information: On October 26, the Mexican Senate announced that it passed a law to eliminate Daylight Saving Time (DST) in Mexico, which means that from October 30, 2022, when most of Mexico turns the clock back 1 hour, Mexico will only use the standard time in all its time zones, except border cities with the US

Mexico will have spent 26 years using the time change, from 1996 to 2022.
*The Law excludes Baja California and the border cities of Mexico with the US, that will continue to use daylight saving time in unison with the US.
